LAMANCHAS
Sasha CAPRA AMORE SASHA GL1442979 02/08/2006 I rescued her from a neglected life. When I got her she had mastitis and I spent much effort to get rid of the nasty infection. Now she has a lop sided udder and is a great milker off both sides. She has a good bone structure, body frame, and a big udder. She is very affectionate and is our herd matriarch. She kidded in 2008 with a beautiful brown doeling, Kiera.
Miesha Not Registered (Same genetics as L1385036) 02/21/2007 She was my second bottle baby and the sister to my beloved doe Leila. She is my baby and is like Leila in so many ways. She ended up getting coci when she was little and has been growing slow ever since. She accidently got bred last year which has set her growth back as well. She had well attached udder and a good milk production for being a first freshener this year. She has continued to grow and I hope she will at least break the 100 lb mark by next fall.
Kiera CAPRA AMORE SS KIERA GL1443119 02/07/2008 My very first Lamancha kid! She is the daughter of Sasha. We bottle raised her because Sasha's milk hadn't come in and we weren't sure if was going too. She ran around the house with Shiloh and Buddy in our house in the suburbs. She is so sweet and mellow. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, which is interesting I think since her mother is bossy and our matriarch.
BOERS
Reggie No Papers 03/27/2007 She is the daughter of Leila (to see pictures of her birth, click the link at the top of the page). She is a Lamancha/Boer cross. She has the length and height of a dairy goat with some muscling. She had a great udder as a first freshener this year, however, it could be better shaped.
Shiloh Not Registered Yet 01/28/2008 Shiloh came from the property where I kept my goats when I first moved to Yuba City. She was a triplet of an old doe and all three kids had to be taken since her mother came down with milk fever. We took her home after we had taken home a weak wether who sadly passed the next day. My mother was devestated about him and to cheer her up, I brought home another bottle baby, this one perfectly healthy. She's a special girl, I delivered and named her. She is a percentage Boer but is developing well into a well muscled goat.
Chloe No Papers 01/2008 She is a Boer and Kiko cross that I bought from my friend Donna. She was really wild when I got her but I was able to tame her down really well. She isnt has friendly as my other goats, but will let me pet her and tie her up to trim her hooves. I love her coloring and her airplane ears. She developing into a great looking Boer.
Lulu No Papers 01/2008 She is another Boer and Kiko cross I got from Donna. She was really wild when I got her and well still is pretty wild. I'm hopeing she will mellow out as she matures. She is growing well and is built more like a Boer than Chloe.
