WELCOME!

My herd is located in Yuba City in Northern California, near the smallest mountain range, the Sutter Buttes. I lease some property to house my goats since I cannot afford a rental with land at this point in time.  I welcome visitors of all kinds to come and be hands on with the goats. I really enjoy teaching youth about animals and their care. 

I try to do my best to provide what I can for my goats on my budget. The goats are able to graze on a variety of vegitation, however they also are fed once a day with Chaffhaye and grass/alfalfa hay. They also get a mix of sweet feed, goat chow, and beet pulp a two times a week. They also get goodies like fruit, veggies, bread and leaves every once in awhile. I have my does raise their kids and am very hands on with them once they are born. Kids are disbudded by two weeks and begin wearing collars a day or two after birth. All the goats are vaccinated annually with CD/T. I have not tested for CAE or CL, but have purchased my animals from clean herds. I have no visible signs of either disease and don't worry about the tests since this is more of a hobby operation right now. All my goats are well socialized as well as collar and leash trained. They love attention and do not bite, butt, or jump or visitors of any age. 

I offer grooming, vaccinating, disbudding, and banding services for little cost. I have a registered Graded Lamancha buckling available for breeding if anyone is interested. He is musclular with lots of length and great confirmation.
